I am a PhD student studying the origins of life. I’m currently affiliated with The Beyond Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science and the Department of Physics at Arizona State University. I am completing my dissertation studying computational models of chemical evolution under the supervision of Professor Sara Imari Walker.
I am a physicist by training. I received a BSc in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from San Francisco State University in 2013. However I’ve always had an interest in interdisciplinary questions. In my research I take a post-disciplinary approach to the origins of life by bringing theoretical tools Complex Systems Science to bear on problems in Astrobiology.
Here you’ll find information about my current research, including links to my published work, a current copy of my CV, as well as my blog.
